What changes between SRT and VTT?
SRT is widely used for exchanging subtitles and separates milliseconds with a comma. WebVTT starts with WEBVTT, uses a decimal point, and supports positioning and styling for web captions. Conversion keeps text, line breaks, timestamps and basic bold, italic and underline. VTT notes, voice labels, positioning and specialized styles do not carry into SRT; the tool flags these changes.
Can this tool transcribe audio or video?
